Let earnings come from production.
In labs, month end usually plays out the same way: who did how many jobs is pieced together from memory and notebooks. In Clineo Lab earnings come from the production record. As the technician scans barcodes, the jobs they moved forward are recorded; at month end the calculation is already done.
The problem on the floor
Why does the month-end calculation turn into an argument?
In most labs earnings are calculated at month end, looking back. The notebook, scraps of paper and memory are combined. The problem with this method is not that it is wrong, but that its accuracy cannot be proven: when a technician says they counted a job, there is no record to show on the other side.
The argument usually grows over shared jobs. When a case passes through several hands, who did which stage is not clearly remembered at month end. That wears down both the calculation and trust within the team.
Earnings based on the production record end this argument from the start. Because stage changes are created during the day, as the work is done, there is nothing to gather at month end. The figure comes not from anyone’s memory but from the record built up over the month.

Tip: The only condition for the earnings figure to be right is that stage changes are made by scanning. For orders moved by hand, the information on who did it may be missing.
What are earnings calculated on?
On the jobs the technician moved forward. The amounts you define per job type are matched with the production record.
What if more than one technician works on the same job?
Because the work order moves in stages, the technician who moved each stage is recorded separately.
Does it replace payroll?
No. This is a production earnings breakdown; payroll and official wage processes run separately.
Can a technician see their own figure?
Permissions are role-based; you decide who sees which screen.
