Phone verification
The “Send SMS code” button on the patient card uses the same account.
SMS account
You connect your Netgsm account to Clineo. Appointment reminders are sent with your clinic’s sender name and your own credit; you verify a patient’s phone with a single code.
Setup
No technical team needed. You fill in a few fields on the Settings screen.
Under Settings → SMS Account you enter your Netgsm username, password and approved sender name. The password is stored encrypted and never shown on screen again.
You send a test message to your own number. If there’s a problem, Netgsm’s error code appears with an explanation in Turkish.
Appointment reminders and verification codes are sent with your clinic’s sender name, from your own account.
Number verification
On the patient card, right under the phone number, there’s a “Send SMS code” button. The patient tells you the code and the number is marked as verified.
An expired code isn’t accepted; you send a new one.
There’s a 60-second wait between sends, at most 5 codes per hour, and the code becomes invalid after 5 wrong attempts.
When the phone is updated, the old verification is removed automatically; the new number is verified again.
The verification code isn’t kept in system logs; it’s held only briefly for comparison.
