X-ray
X-ray management: let the captured image land on the patient’s card by itself.
You store panoramic, periapical, bitewing, cephalometric and occlusal images on the patient card. A small agent installed on the X-ray room computer uploads new images to Clineo by itself.
Device connection
No more carrying images on USB sticks.
The agent watches the folder where the X-ray software saves images.
Install the agent
You install the agent on the X-ray computer and enter the device key Clineo generates. The key is shown only once.
The image lands in the folder
When the exposure is done, the image is saved to the software’s folder; the agent uploads it to Clineo.
It matches by patient number
If the file name starts with the Clineo patient number (e.g. 1042_pano.jpg), the image goes straight into that patient’s X-rays.
The rest waits in the X-ray Inbox
Unmatched images wait in the X-ray Inbox; you assign them to the right patient with one click.
On the patient record
Every image with its type, tooth and date.
Sorted as panoramic, periapical, bitewing, cephalometric and occlusal.
You link the image to a tooth by its FDI number; invalid numbers aren’t accepted.
The newest exposure stays on top; if no exposure date was entered, the order of adding is used.
Type, tooth, date and note can be corrected; the image itself can’t be altered.
Only doctors or admins can delete an X-ray; deletion is also recorded in the audit log.
Access and formats
Who sees it, which files open.
X-rays are seen by doctors, nurses and admins; the front desk role cannot access health images.
Images aren’t served from a publicly accessible address; every opening and addition is written to the audit log.
DICOM files don’t open directly. You export them as JPEG from your imaging software and upload. Up to 10 MB per image.
